Today, almost all games require a high spec laptop or PC to be played smoothly. The better the graphics, the heavier the game will be played on laptops with low specs.
If you have a low spec with the game you want to play, then in this post I will give tips on how to facilitate heavy gaming on PCs and laptops so that it doesn't lag when played.
1. Close applications that are not needed when playing games
Applications such as browsers will consume a lot of resources (RAM) on our laptop, when running it together with the game it will be more burdensome to the system. So we recommend that this heavy application close when playing games. After all, it's nice to browse while playing games at the same time.
2. Turn off the antivirus
Antivirus also sometimes can consume large resources especially if real time protection or auto scanning is running. This process can make our laptop heavy. So when playing a game, it's best to turn off the antivirus, then after it's finished playing we can turn it back on.
3. Boosting system using the game booster application
To optimize the resources on our laptop while playing games, we can also use the game booster application. This application can facilitate heavy gaming on a laptop by freeing more memory from the process running in the background, which is not needed by the game.
There are lots of free booster game applications that you can use, but I recommend using the Razer Cortex Game Booster, because I myself use this application and am quite satisfied with the results.
4. Use a cleaner application to clean junk files that make it heavy
5. Prioritize performance rather than graphic display
We can set graphics in medium settings and even low and prioritize the frame rate settings. Because smooth games are better played than games with high graphics but broken.
